Ring-Tailed Lemur

Ring-Tailed Lemur

A Ring-Tailed Lemur looking very relaxed for him or herself. This photo was taken back in June 2008 at Fota Wildlife Park. On the same day the staff there were counting all their Lemurs. A stock take of sorts as they regularly go out over the fence to the shingle beach to root around the shells. I was told by one of the staff counting that they regularly do that but they always come back for their dinner!

Frozen Lake

Loughaderra lake near Castlemartyr, Co. Cork taken this morning the 22nd December 2009. The big freeze is still well underway. As you can see all the birds have crowded around the only bit of open water left!

Wind Power

Wind turbines against an ominous looking July sky. These windmills are near the Cork and Kerry border. Not too far from Ballyvourney.
